Tiger Woods might be involved in a Chicago lakefront golf project — a vision NBC/Golf Channel commentator Mark Rolfing has long considered a dream concept, “combining the Jackson Park and South Shore golf courses to create a South Side mecca near the site of the planned Obama library,” according to my boy Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune. Given it’s a heavyweight project featuring bold-faced names, naturally, Mike Keiser, the mastermind behind the popular Bandon Dunes Resort on the coast of Oregon, is also involved as an adviser.

Hello from Bandon, Oregon! I arrived here Sunday afternoon for my first pilgrimage to the famed Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Now, I can finally attest that all the rave reviews you’ve heard from your buddies about this golfing mecca is 100% true (or even better), thanks to the kind folks at TaylorMade.

Here’s another post on my three-day fam trip/boondoggle/junket (which means it was courtesy of the generous Canadian government) to Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.

So I think this is the 11th hole...

When we arrived at the much-anticipated Cabot Links in Inverness on Sunday afternoon, several commented that the view of the course from inside the clubhouse looked like Castle Stuart in Scotland — which I haven’t played, but I bet if I showed someone a picture of Cabot, they would guess we were across the pond.
