Welcome to final round of the PGA Championship at Atlanta Athletic Club, where some big names are making a move! Told ya, this was going to get exciting! Same as the other days, I’m live-blogging at the WSJ.com. Please come by and say hi!
Hello from Atlanta Athletic Club! It was beautiful this morning when Tiger Woods started on the 10th hole to kick off Glory’s Last Shot (the most overused phrase…ever). Too bad it won’t stay that way. Temperatures are expected to rise to the mid-90s again.
I’m live-blogging the first round for the WSJ.com. Please stop by and say hi! And feel free to use the space below as an open thread/debate, as well as the comments section over at the live-blog.
My apologies for forgetting to post the link to yesterday’s live-blog. I’m sure it completely ruined your days! And now I’m late providing the link to today’s live-blog. Too many irons in the fire, but it’s all good. Come stop by and say hi!
My apologies for forgetting to post the link to the Wall Street Journal live blog of the first round of the US Open at Congressional (here’s the link if you’d like to go back and read some of my commentary from yesterday.). I think I was typing at a rate of 950 words per five minutes! I’m kidding, just a little delirious and running on adrenaline. But what an amazing U.S. Open. Who else is glad they picked Rory McIlroy as their favorite for the week?
The US Open at Congressional kicks off today bright and early. Finally, right? I do love the practice days because I get the most reporting done, but it also means longer hours, longer days and not enough sleep. So excuse me if I’ve been a bit delirious. If I haven’t already mentioned, as of yesterday, I’m primarily blogging/reporting for the Wall Street Journal’s Daily Fix.
For your convenience, I’ll repost the links and perhaps a few excerpts that will direct you to the full story.
The final round of the Masters is underway, but we’ve still got two hours before the leaders tee off. As you know, Rory McIlroy leads by four shots over K.J. Choi, Jason Day, Angel Cabrera and Charl Schwartzel. Adam Scott and Luke Donald are five strokes back. Do you think Rory can pull it off today? I sure hope so. If he pulls a Dustin Johnson at the US Open or Nick Watney at the PGA, who do you think will take control? Can Tiger still win or is he too far back?
I’m heading out to watch some of the action in person, but I’ve already started live-blogging at the Wall Street Journal’s Daily Fix and will return in time for most of Rory’s round. Please come by and say hello and leave your thoughts in either comment section. Thanks! Here’s to a compelling and unforgettable Masters Sunday!

Fred Couples, a 51-year-old with a bad back, fires a 68 in the second round of the Masters. Go, Boom Boom! Rory McIlroy, the youngest first-round leader in history, continues to play solid golf — he’s two-under through seven holes, nine-under total, and leads by one at the moment over K.J. Choi, who is no stranger to the tournament leaderboard. Once again, I’m live-blogging over at the WSJ.com — please stop by and say hi! Leave comments and questions and I’ll mix them in with the updates.
Oh, and by the way, big thanks to Merf and Conor for all their contributions this week.

Rory McIlroy is on fire during the first round! He’s six-under through 14. I’m live-blogging for the WSJ.com — go HERE to follow along and say hello!
Just got back to the media center after bouncing between the last two groups while they played the front nine. As you guys may have seen, it got pretty ugly. Nick Watney quickly pulled a Dustin Johnson when he double-bogeyed the first hole. DJ must have been watching in disbelief, but he probably commiserated with Watney.
The majority of the crowd is pulling for either Rory McIlroy or Dustin Johnson.
I’m live-blogging the final holes over at the WSJ.com. Please come say hi.
