Uh oh...
The first round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship was halted at 2:22pm due to inclement weather in the area. After thunderstorms and showers hit Trump National Doral, the range re-opened just before 4pm and then golfers were back in position to restart play at 4:45pm.

Ouch.
Fresh off the biggest victory of his career, the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, just two weeks ago, Jason Day was forced to withdraw from the WGC-Cadillac Championship on Thursday with a thumb injury. Day, the world no. 4, says his left thumb bothered him the last time he played and the discomfort continued at Doral.

Tiger is feeling better.
Tiger Woods withdrew after 13 holes at PGA National during the final round of the Honda Classic last Sunday, citing lower back spasms. But, just a few days later at the newly-renovated Trump National Doral, he was smiling and seemed in good spirits in his pre-tournament press conference Wednesday afternoon.
