The WM Phoenix Open organizers, the Thunderbirds, a charity secret society group, are known for having a great sense of humor (and throwing wild parties). They’ve also had some fun with the parking signs, like in 2010.

Aaron Baddeley was at TPC Scottsdale on Monday afternoon and snapped the above photo, tweeting it with the caption: “@bubbawatson looks like u didn’t get a parking spot the wm phx open but your car did!!”

Of course, it’s a reference to Bubba’s new ride, the original car from the “Dukes of Hazzard” TV series. Speaking of which, Bubba is a local, so I hope he rolls in with General Lee at least one day — it has its own parking space, after all.

I love this tournament and the T-birds. It’s going to be a fun week, as long as I beat the fever I woke up with this morning…
