Someone did the hard work of unearthing this little corker of a video from the British Pathé YouTube archive. It’s a 1932 feature on Tom McAuliffe, an American who overcame the most profound of physical challenges– in golfing terms, anyway– to become a competent amateur golfer.
Inspiring stuff.
PS: Mr. McAuliffe probably deserves a pass for wearing his cap backwards.
