Kyle Stanley, I presume?

The third round of the Farmers Insurance Open is rattling towards its conclusion and, as things currently stand, Kyle Stanley enjoys a three-shot lead over the unheralded/anonymous Martin Flores and four over Bill Haas and Brandt Snedeker. (continue reading…)

Noh Pain, Claxton Gain

Noh playing his way to PGA Tour where he belongs

Regardless of the score they posted, the first word uttered when players wrapped up their rounds of PGA Tour Q-school finals on Saturday was some rendition of “tough.” With the wind gusting ceaselessly at 20-30mph at PGA West, the Nicklaus Tournament and Stadium courses bared its teeth — the fourth round scoring average was 74.33 at Nickalus Tournament and 75.45 at Stadium. • About Me

Hi! My name is Stephanie Wei. I grew up in Seattle. I live in Manhattan, NYC. I played competitive golf for ten years in the junior and college ranks. I went to Yale, where I played on the women's golf team and graduated in '05 with a B.A. in History.

I still enjoy pegging it, but don't ask me my handicap because I stopped keeping one when I left for college. More important, I'm feisty and I like to smile a lot. I also love sports, spandex and surprises.

I'm a freelance writer and reporter, as well as a contributor for Sports Illustrated Golf+.
