Okay, I’m not going to lie — I giggled and even laughed out loud a few times watching “2.Oh,” the encore performance of “Golf Boys,” a group consisting of Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan.

The song was written by Mat Kearney.

As you may recall, the group released their international debut in June 2011. A second music video was not in the original plans, but apparently the golfers finally gave in after relentless requests from fans.

Spencer Levin is usually seen smoking darts like it’s his job, but this week at TPC Scottsdale, he’s also hitting darts. The fiery Levin teed off in the final round of the Phoenix Open with a six-shot lead through 54 holes.

Spence has got this in the bag, right? Well, if we learned anything last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, NO lead is safe. Not even a seven-shot advantage with 11 holes to play. The tournament is 72 holes, not 71, etc. (continue reading…)

JB Holmes: Master plumb-bobber

Five players have withdrawn from the Honda Classic, including Justin Rose, who is suffering from the flu and has lost seven pounds, and Cameron Beckman, who didn’t cite a reason, according to PGA Tour media officials. Stewart Cink, Ben Crane and J.B. Holmes also pulled out without providing explanations. Good news is that without the latter three, perhaps the pace of play will improve at PGA National!
