True to her Scandinavian genes, the Norwegian agreed to participate in the shoot straight away, according to USA Today’s Steve DiMeglio:
“A lot of the best athletes in the world have done it, and I thought it was great to be asked. I thought about it, being naked and all, but I never really considered not doing it. I just had to make sure that I was comfortable in doing it. It’s as natural as it gets. It’s health at its peak.”
Pettersen, winner of the 2007 LPGA Championship, is an avid skier, cyclist and affirmed gym bunny. Most of the promotional material doing the rounds considers it important to mention her height and weight (5’9”, 150lbs).
One thing’s for certain, this is a hell of a lot easier on the eyes than Camilo’s shoot from a while back. That was… *shudder*

I think part of the problem is that it’s different random Koreans. Annika and Keri (in addition to looking the part) also were up there year in and year out.
If a player wins, and then doesn’t win again for two years, you forget about them.
And yes I think a lot of the top Americans are into branding, do the corporate shoots etc. But that also means they stand out more, and develop fan bases and followings. It’s a delicate balance.

Ryann O’Toole is way more ripped
I suppose she is nice enough looking, but I’m not really much of a fan. My 10 yr old daughter and I followed her, Paula C, and Natalie for 18 holes this spring at Shopright in AC. Honestly, we were following Paula, but Suzanne was in the group right ? Cut to the 18th (which was really the 9th) and we get autos, smiles, ect from both Paula and Natalie, meanwhile Suzanne actually stood off to the side and waited for those 2, so they could all get escorted back to the clubhouse. Not that nice. Paula smoked her that day btw.

When do we see a Wei photo shoot?
It’ll be in the SI Lesser Known Golf Writers swimsuit edition, coming in the fall. But seriously, attempting to hit on someone in the comments section of a golf blog is pretty weak.

Suzann looks great. If a couple of the hotter-looking South Koreans would do one of these, I think it would help them all gain more acceptance here in the States.
She looks ok, but when you advertise “nude” and there is no boob to be seen in the picture is false advertising. Also, I don’t find the picture to be very creative. Normally, photos in The Body find creative ways to present an athlete in a way associated to their sport. This seems to her just sitting on some deck or pier. I dont know it this is the photographer’s fault or all that Suzanne was will to do. Not very good.
I thought the picture of Camilo’s shoot was much more creative.
Sidenote to Steph: I join those in support of the forthcoming Wei photo shoot. Listen Steph it doesn’t have to be nude — we will take drunk halloween party pictures. Anything that involves say cheerleader outfits, french maids, or the reliable standby pleated catholic school mini. Oh here’s an idea, just borrow an golf outfit from Natalie Gulbis or Sandra Gal.
