I agree with the earlier commentors. He needs to stop chasing caroline all over the world and refocus on what made him a household name. I think he was starting to believe his own hype. He hasn’t accomplished anything (compared to the greats) yet.

It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to get his head screwed back on. He is too talented not regain his form.

I’m waiting for this very unstable Rory to throw a punch at someone on the course. It’s obvious he cannot control his emotions at all. Nicklaus, Palmer, Watson, never, ever threw a club, or smashed one against their bag, take a purposeful divot, not talk to the reporter after a loss, swear out loud, etc. To compare Rory to one of these guys is impossible. Rory is the biggest bum in sports today. The puke couldn’t keep his thing in his pants while his gorgeous and devoted wife was giving birth. Go out with a few women while your wife is pregnant? Hey, way to go Rory! Only reason his remaining sponsors haven’t dumped him is because of money. They have the same ethics as Rory.

Ms. Wozniak attacks Rory with a tennis racket after the tabloids report he has been cavorting with a beautiful and feisty golf writer.Rory crashes his beemer fleeing the scene and chips one of his signature pearly whites. The golf world awaits, hoping his career is not in shambles just 16 major wins short of Jack’s record.

There is no place for throwing clubs in golf, not at the local muni, and certainly not on the PGA tour. It childish, immature, and can be dangerous to you or your playing partners (I’ve been hit by a club that was flung back towards the cart by a playing partner). Believe me, I understand the emotion the game can bring, and in my youth I too let go of a few clubs. That said, young Mr. Rory is a role model for kids now, and he needs to understand that.

His club throwing really need more reps. It’s clear that his traj is too low to get any distance. It is what it is. It’s a process.

There’s no point in throwing a club if you don’t really mean it. Sergio threw his in a lake. Tiger threw his AND kicked it. Rory only gives it half a lob less than ten yards forward? Please. If you’re going to wimp out, don’t bother.

Rory uttered the dreaded sentence at his presser before the start of the BMW – “I am the best player in the world” -then during the round he got a great awakening and realised his premature comments were foolish and the ‘oops’ moment set in. His nerves became shattered since he has to back up his statement for the balance of the year. He needs to regroup but has no time to do so in this tourney. He may miss the cut. How many cuts has he missed in his 5+ years of pro golf so far? many?
(tongue in cheek) This is golf , a hard game, Rory is your good tour player todate with the potential to be great,just like many players on tour
