I’ve come around, I used to not like the crazy birdie-thons with -25 scores so much. But this week was fun, and it’s good to have some weeks like that every once in awhile. Really enjoy this tournament and all the birdies/eagles and the crowds, even just from watching on TV, it’s very entertaining.

Now we get to go to the insane pro-am slow play celebrity suck-up week of Pebble. As much as I like Bill Murray (see my user name), I can’t get into watching Pebble until Sunday.

Great win. With all those people attending, the course needed to be easy. Putting virtually in straight lines as Johnny Miller alluded.
Also, why don’t these players smile! They are making birdies and eagles every second hole and they are emotionless. Miller made this comment about Piercy but most of the rest of the field were the same as him.

Always awesome when Phil wins. In my view it’d be great if he could take down a Vardon Trophy and Player of the Year prior to 45yrs old.

Very pleased for Callaway too..such an underrated company with extremely durable products.
