Besides the fact that she’s going to marry a pro golfer, what does she have to do with golf? Well, she likes golf and she’s really, really hot. I mean, look, her body is *smoking*!
Also, if you’re looking for exercise tips to help your game, Paulina can help. Here’s one example of many from the magazine.
Apparently, there’s been a lot of outrage in the golf world via the social media channels about Gretzky being on the cover. I don’t see the harm — hey, more power to her! — but I could see, say, LPGA players, perhaps being a tad offended. Stacy Lewis provided her two cents, according to GolfChannel.com:
“It’s frustrating for female golfers,” Lewis said. “It’s the state of where we’ve always been. We don’t get the respect for being the golfers we are. Obviously, Golf Digest is trying to sell magazines, but at the same time you like to see a little respect for the women’s game.”
The last three women to appear on the cover of Digest were not LPGA pros. For last year’s fitness issue, Golf Channel’s Holly Sonders was front and center, and in December’s edition, supermodel Kate Upton posed with Arnold Palmer. Now, I must say that is a bit disturbing.
Meanwhile, Gretzky’s fiancee Dustin Johnson posted an 80 in the first round of the Shell Houston Open and subsequently withdrew without giving a reason.
