Here’s the second part to my three-day fam trip/boondoggle/junket (which means it was courtesy of the Canadian government) to Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia.

We took the scenic route — literally — from Ingonish to Inverness (the other side of the island) through the Cabot Trail on Sunday morning before playing an afternoon 18 at Cabot Links. And yes, we sure made the most of our time on Cape Breton Island.

I spent most of a week camping in Nova Scotia as a kid. Has to be one of the more scenic places you’ll ever visit.
nudity???
As a Canadian taxpayer, I didn’t know I was bankrolling this.
At least we are getting disclosure on some expeditures.
Oh well, the Canadian Maritimes always seems to be economically depressed. Hopefully golf tourism makes a difference. A much better idea than Anne of Green Gables tours on PEI.
Stephanie – what impressions did some of the other golf writers have of Cape Breton/Highlands Links/Cabot Links?
Mark,
I believe the venture was funded by Nova Scotia.
