SI‘s John Garrity passed along some more photos of our outing at MPCC last week, and what do you know, he’s not just a great writer, he’s a fantastic photographer.
The one above is pretty priceless — and despite what it may look like, I was actually reacting to a good shot on a par 3, where I stuck it to about 10 feet. More gratuitous pictures of me (after all, it is Wednesday…) and the stunning MPCC after the jump.
Our foursome last Tuesday posing for a group shot near the 18th green.
View from the 11th tee.
I think Damon Hack is doing his best Phil Mickelson impression after hitting a good drive on the 18th.
Sigh. It was tough to leave Pebble Beach. Wish I could have played some more, but I got to watch 7 days of (mostly) fabulous golf at Pebble by the pros. What an unforgettable week. One last wrap-up post before I move on…

Shame you’re not flexible. That finish might be a bit better.
So basically, you were the ringer for your group, eh ?
Great pictures. Looks like fun.
I used to work at the driving range at MPCC when I was a kid. I miss those golf courses. I won a couple junior tournaments there, so I have an affinity for that place.
Forgive me, however I just can’t tell you the same old melarky. You know, how great your website is and how much I wish I had a website like your’s, sort of line. Oh I do like your site, do not get me wrong. It’s just that I do not believe in layering it on too thick. So there you have it. I thank you for putting up with my rantings. I really did’nt know what else to say.
