Goodbye, Captain Corey’s Twitter embargo! The Americans are back on US soil, so they’re allowed to tweet again. First, we have Stewart Cink, who delivered the most expressive and inspiring words from the American side at the post-match presser:
No word from Rickie Fowler yet, though.
It would have been nice to see some fun and inspiring behind-the-scenes tidbits during the Ryder Cup, like the Europeans showed fans. Monty trusted them to use their best judgment and they gave us some fantastic (yet harmless) insight into the team room.
Welcome back, Team America! Congrats on a well-played Ryder Cup (well, Sunday afternoon was kinda iffy…kidding! Kinda.) and thanks for playing your hearts out and putting up a fight.

I have no idea what Pavin was trying to accomplish with this silly ban on the social sites. As a fan of golf i would have love to see some of the behind the scenes activities of the US team.
For so many years the American team has been criticised for not being as relaxed as the euros. Then in steps the Pavin Gestapo to restrict the use of Twitter. C’mon man… i just dont get it.
His wife can strip but players can’t talk hmm… I wonder what goes on between those ears.
Made perfect sense if you ask me, the guys tend not to tweet as much during Majors anyhow…this is more of the same.
Corey was an imitation of someone he thought he should be as Captain. Monty is just so much more interesting.
Kevin, there is a difference in choosing not to tweet and being told to.
yea, the weirdest thing to me is Pavin tweets. so he should understand what it is and how it helps and what fans like about it, no?
