When Tiger Woods spoke at halftime of the Stanford vs. Cal game after being inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame, he was met with a chorus of boos. The game was played at Stanford, but as you can hear, enough Cal fans were in the stands to make a difference. Tiger, who is seemingly impervious to anything fazing him off his game, actually appeared fazed. WHO BOOS ME?
But after an awkward pause, he regained his composure and finished his not-so-inspiring speech by declaring, “The second half is ours.” Unfortunately, his prophesy came up short as Stanford lost 34-28 after their QB threw a last-minute interception.
