Paul Azinger has been tapped as the new lead golf analyst for Fox Sports’ golf coverage of USGA events, replacing the recently-departed Greg Norman, who held the role in the network’s inaugural year, according to GolfDigest.com.

David Feherty, one of the most popular figures in golf broadcasting, will not return to CBS as a golf commentator next season. That’s right — unfortunately, Feherty, who has been with the network for 19 years, called his last tournament (at least on CBS) last week at The Barclays.
CBS Sports decided not to renew Feherty’s contract after talks broke down, according to Sports Business Journal’s John Ourand.
