The Irish Open at Portstewart with Robert Rock and Andrew Coltart (Episode Eight)
By Stephanie Wei under Podcast

Hello from Northern Ireland! As I’m sure you’re aware by now via my social media channels, I’m covering the Irish Open at Portstewart (along with playing some of the world’s finest links courses — which you’ll hear more about it the next episode).

On Wednesday I caught up with European Tour pro and friend of the blog/pod Robert Rock to talk about his forgettable season, his swing experiment that went wrong, putting, along with plenty of our unfiltered banter. He describes the work he’s putting in on his putting stroke at the end of the segment, so I stopped recording to take a video (see below) for a visual aid.

I also spoke with former European Tour player and Sky Sports analyst Andrew Coltart to preview the event and get his expert insight on the golf course.

Friendly reminder to SUBSCRIBE to the pod for free via iTunes. You can also download the episode here or listen to it here. And of course, you can just tune in via the player below.

Here’s the video to provide context on what Rocky was discussing with his putting. He also gives me a lesson — I’ll be the first to tell you how bad I am at putting, but I swear my stroke is not as bad as it looks in this particular case. Rocky brings up the anchoring debate re: Bernhard Langer, as well.

Thanks for your continued support!
