After two days of speculation, Tiger Woods has arrived at Valhalla for a practice round with Steve Stricker. Woods is struggling to recover from back surgery, but he is one heck of a competitor who will try to figure out a way to get around Valhalla for the 96th PGA Championship.
Swing instructor Sean Foley will be joining Tiger for the practice round. In 2008, Tiger and his former instructor, Hank Haney, put together a game plan for attacking Torrey Pines with a broken leg. It’s been done before, and Tiger can do it again.
Joe LaCava, Woods’ caddie, has been seen charting the course, and told the AP’s Doug Ferguson on Monday, “He’s tough,” LaCava said. “Tough and stubborn would be two good words.”
Will Tiger be able to contend at the PGA?
