Dubuisson adds name to mix with stellar play
By Bernie D'Amato under The Open Championship

Sometimes you just need to play better. That’s exactly what Dubuisson did after a first round 74 that had him staring at the cut line. Over the last 36 holes, only Rory McIlroy has equaled Dubuisson’s rounds of 66-68.  The amazing turnaround has the Frenchman in fifth place at eight-under for the tournament.

Victor is someone who puts his head down, and gives each round his best effort. At the WGC-Match Play in February, he lost to Jason Day in one of the hardest fought finals in the tournament’s history. That type of grit and determination has surfaced again for The Open Championship.

When asked about receiving more attention from the media and crowds since his recent success, Dubuisson said, “I don’t really watch around. I just focus really on my game. If the crowd is big, it’s not really a big difference. I really focus on my game on the course.”

Keep focusing Victor, you have a long and promising career ahead.
