As I mentioned a couple of days ago, many of you have asked where you could see my TV work. Well, I have some of the raw footage we shot and I asked my producer from Fox Sports International (Asia) if I could post it — and great news, he gave me the go-ahead!
In the video above, it starts with some of the work I did on Friday, bounces to a piece from Saturday, and then goes backward from Thursday to Tuesday. Pardon the slides that are placeholders for the editors in the studio to insert the footage/b-roll.
Also, there’s a mistake in the Par-3 Contest feature — I reported that there were two hole-in-ones during this year’s (fun) competition, but then later in the day, there was another one by Matt Jones on the third hole.
I was a bit hesitant to share all this footage with you guys because I’m still extremely new to TV, with the Masters being only the third event I’ve covered as an on-air reporter, so I have a long ways to go — good news is I think I’m trending in the right direction. In other words, be nice and I promise I’ll improve with every tournament!
Here are some shorter bytes and interviews…
First, previewing the 18th hole on Sunday:
Next, talking with fans about their fascinating stories from watching Amen Corner over the years:
Now, an interview with Fred Couples on Tuesday of Masters week (which was unfortunately cut off halfway through due to technical problems):
And you have to watch this interview with Henrik Stenson, who really likes the number 69:
Finally, here’s one for the Canadians:
Thanks for watching! Oh, also, I should have my interview with Ben Crenshaw from Sunday of Masters week sometime tomorrow, so I will post that as soon as I can.
Here’s my standup talking about Rory McIlroy’s frustrating week after he was beat by a non-competing marker in the third round:
And, finally, here’s the Crenshaw interview:
