Oldies but goodies

The pairings have been set for the first and second round of the Masters. Let’s see what the Green Jackets have put together for this year… Well, per usual, they’re not *that* intriguing, but there is one that’s fantastic. Yep, you’ve guessed it: Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth and Patrick “Top 5” Reed.

“Yeah, there’s not going to be a top five player in that group,” quipped Rory in his press conference on Wednesday.

Here now are the full list of groupings — I’ve bolded the ones I think have the most star power. Your thoughts? (And no, I’m not counting “The Big Three,” obviously.)

By the way, apologies for the lack of posts, but I literally have no time. As many of you know, I’m working as an on-air reporter for Fox Sports International (Asia) this week, and they’re WORKING ME TO THE BONE. Just kidding. Well, kind of — they’ve been enjoyable 12-hour days, but it leaves me no time to write if I’m going to sneak in some sleep. I’ll do my best to check in if I have a spare minute, but the logistics at the Masters don’t lend well to me posting just anywhere since NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED outside the press and broadcasting centers!

Oh, but that’s why I have my social media hub! I’ve been tweeting as much as possible, which, again is tough because I’ve been filming stuff on the golf course or interviewing players under the famous Oak Tree by the clubhouse all day. Who knows, maybe I’ll have more time once the tournament starts to share my SUPER DEEP musings. But for now, my sincere apologies!
