VIDEO: Tiger drains a doozy
By Stephanie Wei under PGA Tour
Tiger Woods rolled in a 91-footer for birdie on the difficult par-3 4th hole during the second round of the WGC-Cadillac Championship.

“It’s just one of those things,” he said. “I just tried to get the ball close, and I can’t remember the last time I made a putt from that far.”

Woods battled the tough and extremely blustery conditions at Trump National Doral to post a one-over 73.

“That was a tough golf course today,” said Tiger. “I don’t think that we expected the golf course to be that hard that fast, but it kept getting quicker and quicker.  Some of these pin locations were just — with the wind directions, it was just impossible to get the ball close.”

What can he do when conditions are like they were Friday?

“Just grind it out,” he said. “I think when we made the turn, there were nine guys under par, and I was only two (over), so basically, you’ve just got to hang around.  You just never know.  We’ve all got a shot at it now.  No one is going anywhere.”
