Jason Dufner, an Auburn alumni and diehard football fan, understandably really wants to watch the SEC Championship this Saturday between his alma mater and Missouri.
Problem is, he has a work conflict! — that’s right, Dufner is playing in this week’s Northwestern Mutual World Challenge, the exhibition event that Tiger Woods hosts every December with the proceeds benefiting his foundation.
Naturally, Dufner decided to take to Twitter and plead his case with Mr. Woods.
Dear Mr @TigerWoods I petition the event this week to play 36 holes Thurs and Friday,so I can watch my beloved Auburn play for SEC champ thx

Tiger actually tweeted (!!!) him back, and unfortunately, said he could not accommodate Mr. Auburn.
@JasonDufner Petition denied.

Well, at least he had the courtesy to respond!
Oh, and fellow player Pat Perez tweeted some sensible advice to Duf-Daddy:
