Golf Channel’s Steve Sands was giving a live update from the driving range at Oak Hill on Saturday morning when Brandt Snedeker decided to use Sands for target practice.
This is so awesome that it might even rival Jason Dufner’s record-tying 63 as the greatest thing we’ve seen this week at the PGA Championship. OK, maybe that’s taking it a little too far (and I’m sleep-deprived and delirious), but it wins best-in-show in the non-golf category.
As Sands dodged Snedeker’s shots, he yelled back at him, “This is why you’re teeing off so early, your aim’s a little off!”
Well played, Sands, well played. Meanwhile, Snedeker shot even-par 70, three-over total, which currently puts him in the middle of the pack.
