The first- and second-round pairings are out for the Masters! I’ll cut to the chase —  Tiger Woods is grouped with Luke Donald and Scott Piercy at 10:45am on Thursday.

Maybe it’s just me, but the Green Coats seemed to have more fun with the pairings just a few years ago. Wait, no, they don’t have a sense of humor. I’m thinking of the U.S. Open. Duh. (Obviously, I’m typing train of thought.) Anyway, here are the groups that stood out to me (all times EST) — and there are quite a few:

*8:44am: Tom Watson, Ryan Moore, Kevin Streelman

*9:06am: Mike Weir, Lee Westwood, Jim Furyk

*9:17am: Brandt Snedeker, Ryo Ishikawa, Justin Rose (this one rocks!)

*9:39am: Charl Schwartzel, Webb Simpson, Peter Hanson

*9:50am: K.J. Choi, Zach Johnson, Graeme McDowell (another fantastic threesome!)

*10:34am: Bubba Watson, Ian Poulter, Steven Fox

*10:56am: Jason Day, Rickie Fowler, Padraig Harrington (love this group)

*12:13pm: Steve Stricker, Ernie Els, Nick Watney (another great one)

*12:24pm: Ben Crenshaw, Matteo Manassero, Tianlang Guan (this is fantastic — Crenshaw, the oldest participant, will show around the youngest ever to play in the Masters, Guan, and the guy who formerly held this record, Manassero.)

*12:57pm: Angel Cabrera, Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia (this will be a must-watch group)

*1:08pm: Fred Couples, Dustin Johnson Brendan Grace (another good threesome — see, I told you, these are great)

*1:30pm: Phil Mickelson, Martin Kaymer, Louis Oosthuizen (keeps getting better!)

*1:41pm: Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, Fredrik Jacobson (I’d watch this group…maybe)

*1:52pm: Jason Dufner, Matt Kuchar, Bill Haas (I hope they do the #Dufnering pose on the first tee, but I won’t hold my breath!)

Alright, go here for the full list of tee times for Thursday and Friday. If you were headed down to Augusta, which group would you follow?
