2012 Masters champ Bubba Watson tweeted the above picture, unveiling the food he chose to serve at the Masters champions dinner on Tuesday night. Since Bubba kept the menu super top-secret, I was expecting something a little more exciting. I mean, it sounds delicious, but can anyone say, BOR-ING? Snore alert!
-@bubbawatson you had a year to decide on, grilled chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, macaroni & cheese!!! #HappyMeal#PlayLikeaChampion

I know, right! Even though macaroni & cheese, corn and mashed potatoes are just a few of my favorite foods.
This was Bubba’s dinner, so obviously he got to serve whatever he wanted. He said in his press conference that he was nervous about it, so that might explain partly why he went with the traditional route — he didn’t want to upset anyone. Notwithstanding vegetarians, I’m pretty sure all enjoyed the meal or at least were able to stomach it.
My favorite Masters meal in recent history has to be Vijay Singh’s choice in 2001. Singh went with Thai, which was served by a restaurant in Atlanta called Nan. I’ve gone there for a meal the past few years during the Tour Championship and it is absolutely delicious.
Also, check out this sick graphic of the dinner menus from the last 20 champions. Which is your favorite? And what would you serve?
