Erstwhile queen of the LPGA Lorena Ochoa has added a pair of tournament appearances to her crowded 2012 schedule.
According to a statement released on her website, the 30-year-old, who retired from professional golf in 2010, intends to compete at the French Open this coming October before participating in the LPGA event of which she is chief patron, the Lorena Ochoa Invitational.
An influential public figure in her native Mexico, Ochoa currently balances the demands of her career as a civic-minded philanthropist against those of parenthood.
She intends to release a biography later this month.
