E-Z-GO, a comparatively harmless subsidiary of ever-so-slightly shady multinational defence contractor Textron, has announced the recall of 21,900 vehicles from its range of golf carts, shuttles and off-road utility vehicles.
According to Reuters, the models in question have all been equipped with a faulty ball-joint that, under certain circumstances, can fracture and lead to a loss of steering control.
The company, based in Augusta, Georgia, is apparently aware of 71 separate cases of malfunction. None resulted in serious injury.
