…And Mark Calcavecchia makes a great “Rickie Fowler.” Thanks to Tim Rosaforte for passing along the above photo of Calc dressed as Rickie with Rickie dressed as a “nerd” (we think…or as Calc described, “He looked like a white Steve Urkel kind of”).
Oh, but it gets better. Calc and Rickie were at “the most amazing Halloween party ever thrown,” which was hosted by Elin Nordegren (formerly, Elin Nordegren Woods, but for some reason, the transcript says Elin Woods).
“A guy hired Universal Studios to come into Elin’s house that she is going to tear down on the beach there and turned it into a haunted mansion,” said Calcavecchia during his Wednesday presser at the Schwab Cup. “It was like the haunted house at Disney World. It was amazing. Everybody was all dressed up. Really one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.
“Yeah, I looked all right as Rickie. I had to cut (some of my) hair off. My hair was kind of long because of this wig I had and I couldn’t get over all my hair.”
Naturally, his wife Brenda dressed up as Natalie Gulbis.
Calc said he came up with the costume idea back in May, but he and Brenda didn’t have plans for Halloween until the last minute when Jesper Parnevik’s wife, Mia, invited them to Elin’s party.
