Oh, you go, girl!
Thanks to Reader T for directing me to the above tweet that LPGA player Suzann Pettersen posted after nearly breaking her back carrying Tiger Woods on their way to a third-place finish at the Notah Begay Challenge on Wednesday.
You’ve gotta love Pettersen, who was teamed with Woods in the best-ball competition and doesn’t mince words…at all.
Harsh words, you think? Well, knowing Suzann, she probably said the same thing to Tiger’s face.
The pair — or rather, Suzann, who has won two LPGA events this year — posted a seven-under 65 to come in third.
According to a well-placed source, Woods picked up five times in 18 holes. Neither Pettersen nor Woods could be reached to confirm.
Good news is that Tiger may have had better luck on the blackjack tables at Turning Stone Resort.
