Tiger Commits to The Players!

Apparently Tiger's left knee is feeling better

Tiger Woods kept the suits at Ponte Vedra Beach waiting until the eleventh hour for his entry into The Players Championship. The Jacksonville Times-Union‘s Garry Smits reports the good news of the world’s No. 7 committing to play in the PGA Tour’s marquee event next week.

Tiger’s even tweeted, saying “Looking forward to the competition next week, just committed to the Players.”

Liar! I’m pretty sure he’s not the biggest fan of that golf course, particularly the 17th hole.

Woods withdrew from the Quail Hollow Championship because of a mild sprain to his left knee and a strained Achilles heel that he suffered during the third round of the Masters. He’s been walking around in a protective boot.

Let’s hope he’s healthy for Sawgrass and doesn’t have to pull out from the event like he did last year.

Who’s excited for another Tiger appearance? You know, so we can all play the “what’s he going to do next” game.
