Hawaii-Bound: Join WUP’s Fantasy Golf League and Other Announcements
By Stephanie Wei under Announcements

Aloha! I’m about to board my flight heading to Hawaii. Wait, wasn’t I just there? Two-and-a-half months sure flies by! And hey, it’s not my fault the PGA Tour kicks off its season with the Hawaii swing!

My first stop is Kapalua, one of my favorite travel destinations, for the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. And then I’ll hop over to the island of Oahu to cover the Sony Open. Not a bad way to start the new year!

A few things:

*Since I am working and clearly not spending any time sunning myself on the beach, what would you like to see in WUP’s coverage? With regard to content, what would you like to see more of in 2011? (Please refrain from comments like, “Less on Tiger, blah blah.”) I welcome your suggestions and constructive criticism. After all, I’m here to serve you, the readers!

*Join the WUP Facebook Group or follow me on Twitter for pictures of my adventures on tour and other fun stuff.

*December is the gift that keeps on giving. As of this week, I am a Correspondent for the SI Golf Group. What does this all mean? Well, first and foremost, I’ll be the person that brings Shipnuck his coffee. I’ll also chime in during their weekly Tour Confidential roundtable occasionally, and perhaps if I am lucky and work super hard, I’ll get a byline.

*WUP will not be affected. Business will continue as usual. I am still an independent contractor, so you’ll see my work (and face) elsewhere, too.

*Join the WUP Fantasy Golf League. It’s easy. Here’s what to do:

1.) Go to Yahoo Fantasy Golf.

2.) Sign up to play and then it should give you the option to join a group. WUP’s Group ID# is: 6864 and the Password is: hawaii.

3.) That’s all! (I think.) If you have any problems or questions, please e-mail me.

4.) I’ll try to come up with prizes — there will definitely be a year-end prize — but if anyone wants to sponsor this, please e-mail me. Thanks!

*More later. Plane is taking off. Gotta go. Thanks for your continued support of WUP.
