(Thanks to Brian for the Photoshop help!)
First things first, I know I’m late on continuing my story about the outings at Merion and Aronimink last weekend, but patience, my friends — and I’ve been enjoying all your wonderful accounts. Anyway, back to the point — a few weeks ago, I started a WUP Facebook page because I get an awful lot of friend requests and as much as I want to accept them all, Facebook restricts each user’s friend count to 5,000. I know, I know, how can they expect people to have less than 5,000 friends! (No, I don’t have that many yet, but I’m getting pretty close. I think mostly it’s because I’ve been on Facebook since 2004; Yale was something like the fifth school to get it back when it first launched.)
But you really just want to know how to win the autographed Joe Torre ball, right? (He didn’t just sign one for Merf, but a few extras for readers.) Here’s what you have to do: Go to the WUP Facebook page and comment on “Who is your least favorite professional golfer and why?” thread. (I tried to post it under “Questions,” but it was directing it to my personal page.) I was going to ask who your favorite was, but I was worried I’d get too many “Tiger Woods because he’s won 14 major champions and banged over 100 women” and “Natalie Gulbis because she looks hot in a bikini” answers. On the other hand, I’ll probably get those to my question, too. Whatever. Hint: Get a little more creative. But in the spirit of being more positive and all that good stuff, you have the option to tell me who your fave is any why.
Got it? Now go and unleash hate (or love). And no, you can’t comment on this post because I’ve turned them off. Oh, you have until Saturday at 11:59pm and I’ll make a decision as quickly as possible.
