As you may have noticed, the redesign went live on Sunday. Yes, there might have been a period where it acted up and thank you to those who notified me, told me I was stupid for launching it US Open week, sent me screen shots when I couldn’t see it and just made general comments. Please feel free to continue emailing me with any issues you may encounter (and feedback — do you like it? Do you hate it? And why?), but let’s hope it’s all been resolved because glitches are the last thing I want to deal with during the tourney.
I just have one remark for the time being — my picture is almost frightfully large, no?
Unfortunately, my tech people couldn’t immediately transfer the comments from my old blog and they’re still looking for a solution, so please let me know if you can help because it’d be a shame to lose past comment threads — especially when I write something like this and it causes 60-plus people to yell at me. And the comments section is one of the best parts of blogs because it allows people to respond and discuss, resulting in beautiful Internet friendships.
What else? Well, I’m a little delirious. It’s late and I had a longer-than-expected travel day. Let’s see, I woke up at 7AM EST and I arrived at the Shipnuck residence at 830PM PST. But I got here in one piece and aside from the delays, Delta (surprisingly) didn’t lose my luggage. I’m just disappointed I didn’t make it in time to meet the four little Shipnucks before their bedtime, but I hear they may jump into bed with me at 530AM. I’m not really a morning person, so hopefully I don’t forget where I am and clock one of them. That wouldn’t make me a great houseguest (good thing this is only for one night!). Big thanks to Alan and Frances for putting me up.
I’ll be blogging from Pebble Beach tomorrow. Who else is excited?
