Me Chatting About Tiger and The Masters on MSNBC
By Stephanie Wei under General

In the spirit of the Internet and shameless self-promotion, I bring you the two minute clip of my second spot on MSNBC from Saturday morning. I joined Alex Witt to talk Tiger at 8AM and then again around noon.

The first spot might have been a bit longer (and I was a little nervous because it was my first time on TV).  We listened to the soundbite of Tiger comparing his comeback to Ben Hogan’s after he returned from a near-fatal car accident in 1951. My reaction? If Tiger thinks his situation is anything similar to Hogan’s, then it just shows how out of touch with reality he is. Because they are two completely different circumstances. Hogan jumped in front of a bus to shield his wife. Meanwhile, as some have pointed out, Tiger threw his wife under the bus. Yeah, they both had car accidents, but that’s where the similarities end.

As for my performance, I’m told I need to be peppier because the TV sucks all the energy out of you. But I’m pretty sure I can go into bubbly mode on command, so I’ll be sure to remember that next time — which hopefully will be soon. I had a great time chatting with Alex and appreciate MSNBC for giving me the opportunity.
