Three-Peat for Phil Mickelson
By Stephanie Wei under General

Putting side my personal opinions (because, well, this just isn’t the day for it), congratulations to Hefty Lefty on his third green jacket. Even though Phil ran away with it at the end, that was an exciting 2010 Masters. I give him all the credit for pulling off those gutsy shots from the trees, especially the one on 13th. But I do wish KJ Choi or Lee Westwood didn’t fade to add some drama. When the leaders were making the turn, it was must-watch TV. I was sitting on the edge of my seat and didn’t dare get up even for a bathroom break (sorry, TMI).

Anthony Kim put on an impressive performance with a final round 65, the low score for the tournament (Nick Watney also shot 65 today), but he just ran out of holes. Fred Couples was in it for a while before dunking it in the water on the 12th and missing a bunch of short putts. Too bad he didn’t get a nice bounce like the one in ‘92. I cried. He was hitting it so well, but just couldn’t make a putt when it mattered.

Then there was Tiger Woods, who probably shot the ugliest 69 in history (insert awful, cliche jokes about his score). More “JESUS CHRIST” and “TIGER!” outbursts heard loud and clear on the telecast. What happened to just zen it, Tiger?

So? Your thoughts and reactions to this year’s Masters? Vent!
