Tiger’s porn mistress Joslyn James, best known for unleashing the nauseating text messages from Tiger, posted something new on her website — an email with travel arrangements from wingman and president of Tiger Woods Design, Bryon Bell. As you may recall, Bell sent a similar email with trip details to mistress number one Rachel Uchitel, which was uncovered in December.
This latest pseudo-incriminating email wouldn’t be such a big deal if Tiger hadn’t blatantly lied last Sunday when Kelly Tilghman asked him whether it was true members of his inner circle played a part in his dalliances. To which Tiger replied:
That is not true, it was all me. I’m the one who did it, I’m the one who acted the way I acted, no one knew what was going on. I’m sure if more people would have known in my inner circle they would’ve, they would’ve stopped it…or tried to put a stop to it but I kept it all to myself.
You know, while it’s honorable and all that Tiger is taking responsibility, it’s not smart to blatantly lie. At this point, everyone knows that he didn’t and couldn’t have done it alone. He could have answered Kel’s question without calling out his friends yet also not lying. Because, really, if he’s lying about something so easily disprovable, such as Bell’s involvement, then why and how should we believe anything else he says?
Tiger also told Tilghman on Sunday that regaining trust from others would be through his actions over time. Some might say he’s not off to the best start. Meanwhile, my Buddhist mother is calling me “mean.” (She hasn’t seen the sexts yet.) Ouchie.
