Taken by Thomas Gudzowaty and posted at TotallyCoolPix, this photo is just one of an absolutely amazing series. Gudzowaty captures a group of kids on the streets of Mumbai, India, who haven’t let little details like the absence of real clubs and nicely groomed fairways hinder them from playing golf. Too poor to buy clubs and balls, they use melted iron bars and plastic balls to play with and rooftops and alleys as their courses. But while their approach is different, the kids still value the tradition of the game and abide by the rules.
Just a cool example of the interesting way the game can materialize with a little bit of creativity. The entire photo essay is a must-see.
