Following a solid showing at the Walker Cup a few weeks ago, 20-year-old Oklahoma State college standout Rickie Fowler turned pro. As a young (and attractive) rising star, it’s only natural that he’s already been picked up by one big name sponsor (that we officially know of).
Last week it was announced he had signed a contract with Titleist. He will use the brand’s glove and bag and play the clubs and ball.
Now which clothing label will sponsor him? In a recent interview, he said, “I have been wearing PUMA a lot and really liking it and what it represents, so I would have to say PUMA [would be my dream apparel sponsor].”
He was also seen sporting their gear in his pro debut last week at the Albertson’s Boise Open. No surprises if a deal has already been struck between Fowler and PUMA. Perhaps it will be announced soon.
