Paula Creamer and Cristie Kerr of the US Team give each other a celebratory butt bump after beating Suzann Pettersen and Sophie Gustafson in the morning four-ball match. Maybe they followed it with butt slaps?

A quick update on the Solheim Cup matches — the US took the early lead over Europe with a one point lead (2.5 vs 1.5) going into the afternoon. The second round is underway. At the moment, two pairs from each side are leading their matches. Sounds like we’re in for an interesting weekend…

Now, I’ll direct you to Mostly Harmless and Hound Dog LPGA for the best coverage of women’s golf on the web. Oh, they are live-blogging the matches, too.

Aside: I don’t think I’ve ever seen such large and enthusiastic crowds at a women’s event. It’s great, but at the same time, what does that say?
