Tiger Is Going to Win, Right?
By Stephanie Wei under General

It looks like Anthony Kim has his swagger back! The defending champ of the AT&T National shot 8-under-par 62, a course record, in the opening round at Congressional. He leads by two over none other than the tournament’s host Tiger Woods. Oh yeah, two other guys named D.A. Points and Bryce Molder shot 64s as well…but we only care about Tiger.

So I’m thinking the chances of Tiger winning are pretty good, right? He had his putter rolling and hit 12 out of 14 fairways – that’s a deadly combination.

But I’d love to see AK defend his title, especially since he hasn’t played particularly well this year. He’s placed in the top 25 five times, which isn’t exactly bad. Then again, some would say he isn’t performing up to “expectations.” I say give him a little break. He’s been struggling with injuries and he’s already proved he’s a top contender on Tour. By the way, he broke another course record earlier this year when he carded eleven birdies at Augusta.

How about a Tiger and AK pairing this weekend? Now that would be fun to watch! I have a feeling it’s going to be an exciting tourney…On that note, Happy Fourth of July. Here’s to a weekend of BBQs and fireworks!
