I met Byron Nelson during the Masters’ Par-3 competition. Ryan [Moore] and I both went to shake his hand. I was just a caddy, so I wasn’t expecting any respect or special attention. Mr. Nelson shook my hand – When I went to pull away, he clenched it and asked, ‘Son, are you having a good time?’ I replied, ‘Yes sir, I am.’ And he said, ‘Make sure you keep having fun.’ He made a point to go out of his way to be cordial and friendly. [Meeting him] was the best experience.
