I came across this commercial for Gatorade, promoting the new Tiger Woods focus drink, via Golf Is Hard TV.
I’ve gotta admit my immediate reaction = FAIL. But, it’s probably just ‘cause I’m rather baffled with Tiger’s recent commercial appearances. Like this one, I got a good laugh, but it threw me off. Why would Tiger agree to them? Off the top of my head, I can only think of two reasons: 1) He’s getting paid; and 2) He has to do something to compensate for the cursing, bad attitude and lack of character he often shows on the golf course.
Animation is always fun and I love the Jungle Book, but I can’t help thinking, there must be something funky in that rainbow “Gatorade” waterfall. I mean, “C-O-N-C-E-N-Trate on B-E-I-N-G-Rate!”?? I had to play it a few times to fully grasp what they were singing, but maybe I’m just slow.
